Dress Like A Dandy

I'd been waiting for a long time to post the pictures of this shoot. Female dandyism, or wearing menswear-inspired clothes never goes out of fashion. Everyone loves a woman impeccably dressed in a pantsuit or a white shirt, cropped pants, bow-tie and Oxford brogues with a feminine touch.
I personally love the female dandy and feel it's the closest to my personal style. It's a cool, effortless look yet very stylish and sexy.

For the dandy look, I'm wearing a light blue embroidered cotton shirt with a pair of dark blue jeans, its hem rolled up, showing a bit of ankles. The shirt is an export surplus product and one of my best finds from all my Janpath shopping till date! I absolutely love the little embroidered birds on it.
I've had this suspender-fetish for quite sometime now and found these tan and and cream coloured suspenders at Indian Terrain. I couldn't help myself from buying these even though they're a little too big for me (they're menswear accessories). I finally decided to use these suspenders to complete the look and add colour to the ensemble.
Added to the ensemble my favourite suede Oxford wedges, Wayfarer glasses and finished with red lips and a messy high bun.
Enjoy the post! Dress dapper. ;)

Black Magic

Hey, Vogue Nuts! Sorry to have kept you waiting for so long for the new post. A week into college and I'm already neck-deep in work.

I did this shoot a month back and it was waiting to be published since forever in my drafts folder.
Maxi dresses have been in vogue for quite sometime now. I posted a shoot in a floral maxi dress a month back and this time it's a plain black maxi dress. Gone are the days of LBDs (not completely :P).
A black outfit, be it a LBD or a maxi dress or a jeans, always has a wide scope for styling. Add the perfect accessories and make up according to the occasion and you're all set to go.

This shoot looks quite chic and classy with a plain black maxi dress paired with a statement necklace and bright sling bag. Add to that a pair of oval shaped sunglasses with gold frames to complete the look. I didn't take us much time to put together this ensemble because, as I said, black is easy and styling it almost never goes wrong. :D

Enjoy the post!
